WHO WE ARE
~Experience with a new technology~
I started Maine Underwater Imaging in 2023, inspired to return to my love of everything below the waves and learn to use and apply the relatively new technology of underwater drones, or ROV submersibles. I believe there are new and creative ways to apply this technology, some simple and some not yet conceived. As a friend recently told me "I had no idea so much was going on down there just beneath the surface."

My academic background is in marine ecology, with hundreds of hours of diving logged for research and fisheries work. My experience and spatial awareness of the underwater environment has translated to quick success piloting an ROV unit and navigating in a variety of environments. I look forward to helping with simple repetitive projects, and brainstorming new and creative underwater adventures.
